Ok, first let me just ask a honest question? Did you guys even notice I was gone for all of the summer? Or was it just me who felt bummed out for completely abandoning my blog. *insert ugly sobbing here*

I haven’t read a single book. Since the 2nd of August. I had started that book in May.

RIGHT?! Me too, Jen. Me too.

I DON’T WHAT HAPPENED. Should I make this apology worse by blaming it on GIGANTIC reading slump? Can reading slumps even last that long? A WHOLE SEASON?

But the break was needed. Really.

Yeah, sure maybe not a whole season. But now I’m back on my feet and on the roll, and cherish reading more than I have for a very long time. I felt like I had just woken up to find that I’m best friends with Jennifer Lawrence. It’s that crazy. Rather than looking at my TBR pile with my overworked and tired eyes, I NOW LOOK AT THEM LIIIIIKE

SO, WHAT’S THE LONGEST TIME YOU HAVEN’T PICKED UP A BOOK? WHAT DID YOU READ THIS SUMMER THAT YOU’D WANT TO RECOMMEND? IGNORING THE FACT I HAVE OVER 80+ BOOKS IN MY TBR, BUT WHATEVERRR. I’M STILL OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS 🙂 Happy reading!

  2. DON’T FEEL BAD THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I missed a month over the summer and hardly read and felt SO BAD! I’m really glad you read Throne of Glass though, IT’S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I don’t know if you’ve seen any interviews with Sarah J. Maas in them, but she’s HILARIOUS! You should check out her other book ACOTAR too! I loved it. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Glad you’re back!

    1. Right?! Im glad i’ve past that and back to reading again! 🙂 yes, i’ve seen interviews and she really is hilarious. Its what drove me to read the ToG series even more. And i’ve already read ACOTAR and i loooooved it. It was one of the last books i’d read before getting into a reading slump. I’m already onto Crown of Midnight and ahhh so excited! Thank youuu, i’m just as glad to be back❤️

      2. I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT SINCE ToG WAS SO GOOOOD! Literally so excited right now. Despite only being on the second book, i’m considering getting Queen of Shadows asap so i can marathon the series. AND THAT’S SO COOL! YAY TWINNING! Haha, it’s your inner fangirl
